According to Wikipedia, (citing the BBC and The Telegraph) it was Murdoch who sued for divorce from Deng. No less a source than The Economist reports that he suspected her of having an affair with Tony Blair.
The BBC doesn't mention Blair, while the Telegraph stops short of the latter allegation, saying only that 'Recent reports said Ms Deng had "immersed herself" in a circle including Tony Blair, the former prime minister, Nicole Kidman, the actress, and Bono, the singer, and that Mr Murdoch was rarely present.'
